These options are valid only for short-stay visas (up to 90 days) as a tourist or business visit (Schengen visa).

Applications for long-stay visas (over 90 days, the National Visa) must be filed directly with the Swiss representation abroad.

In addition, certain Swiss representations abroad have the potential to make an appointment online to submit the visa application.
